The wonderful laser printer
OK, here’s one of those quick tips on products that will make your life better. Buy a laser printer! I know you think that laser printers are for the office and your crappy inkjet is fine for home use. You probably think they are too expensive and that the ink/toner is too expensive. You also worry that you won’t be able to print in color like on your inkjet.
You’re wrong. You can pick up a good laser printer for under $100. Ink will run you about $80, which sounds expensive until you think about the fact that they last 3,000 pages and you probably print a couple of hundred pages a year. Plus, the inkjet refills are $30 a piece and half the time they end up drying out before you can use it all. As for the need for color prints, ask yourself how often you really need to print in color. I’m guessing it’s probably rare.
Lasers are faster than inkjets, print cleaner, and you never have to worry about the ink cartridges drying out. No more cleaning the heads! You click “print” and it just prints.
Believe me, this is one of those products that you’ll wonder how you did without for so long.
